Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through new innovations in technology,

education and training.

• Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in today's deaf culture, which is becoming more technological, is our primary purpose. Never before have we had this opportunity. And today, our world is using resources like pagers, PDAs, and computers to enhance our lives in a wide variety of forms from education and entertainment to employment and life essence. DOU is working to utilize these innovations in technology to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and to train others to do the same whether they are Ministers of the Gospel, or members of Churches who desire to know more about the Bible, and who desire to be better trained in ministry, in Biblical studies or in Ministry to the Deaf.

• Desiring to help others who may have not received their High School Diploma. We are working to develop and provide classes that will assist these deaf people to complete the General Education Diploma program using the information highway and computer resources to provide training, tutoring, and educational assistance.

Provide resources for support and empower people in the deaf community.

• Scholarships are available for those who demonstrate financial need.
• Technical support available for computer difficulties.
• Networking with various agencies and organizations serving the deaf creates greater accessibility for services.
• Staff that is knowledgable of deaf culture and resources for the deaf.
